I think the main function of this forum still focus on SEA Games. No need to change it's "display name", because the account name for this forum is seagames already. :D

yes, I think in future our Asean have to become a big family because China want to eat our coutries always, Vietnam has been bitten in 1988 and a few years ago, Philippil has been bitten in 1995 by them,...
If SEA is not strong, we will be eaten up by the predatory superpower countries like USA or China, Seeing Vietnam lost their islands is somehow pitiful to me though, I understand how they would feel if I was in their shoes.
I know there are many projects from China in Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia but behind that projects are malicious intentions of China, they took our resources, our Countries become the place which they sell their goods-products and we became the colony of China.

I agree. But beware of Korea as well... Koreans have been plundering our resources here in the Philippines. A lot of people especially the educated ones hate the Koreans because they do not respect our local cultures, our environment and our people.
Regarding China, it is really stupid how they can claim part of our islands. They tried to claim the Scarborough Shoal off Zambales Province! And they also steal and poach in our protected waters and marine sanctuary!

What happened?? Those damn Koreans...The poisoned our trees in a protected mountain here so that they can build their apartments and they are also mining the beaches in Northern Cagayan effectively destroying the beaches there.... at least 5 5-star hotels and golf clubs in the Philippines banned Koreans because of their really bad behavior. I went to Korea last year and it is a pretty ugly country, and it is very polluted. In Seoul you can barely see the buildings because of the thick smog!
Hmm..i guess i was right after all.from my past experiences,both in personal&business,i was conned by Chinese&Korean ppl.i didnt like wat they did 2 me.i m not saying all r bad but i thk majority of them r.they bhave like we,Asean ppl,owe them 4 a living.i pray 4 their misconceptions 2 d Lord 4 forgiveness.poor souls..

Yeah, ask anyone from the airports here in the Philippines and they will all tell you which nationalities they really hate the most. When I go to Boracay or popular destinations I always make a request to be billeted in a room away from Koreans and apparently hotels understand as a lot of other guests as well had the same requests. We have over 500,000 Koreans coming to the Philippines every year and we are not so happy with how they treat Filipinos. I heard similar stories from all over ASEAN and it is quite bad as people from Southeast Asia are very friendly and hospitable but we end up getting abused by them. My friend got conned by a Korean as well and they stole millions from her family. One Korean was arrested in Davao for selling endangered Philippine marine animal. There are quite a few of Korean prostitutes here as well.
