Last Words for the SEAGAMES and This International Forum
Permalink

This could be the last post I write on this forum. After all, what is done is done. I would like to have some words for you all on this international forum.

First of all, I want to say congratulation to the Malaysian football team for gaining the honor medal, for playing hearfully, and bringing fame to their country. Second, I want to praise all fans, regardless of nation, who support their home team to the last minute. But third, I would like to discuss some serious and sensitive issues arise on this forum.

Arrogant, Educated, and Civilized Issues:
It is very sad to see A LARGE NUMBER of fans who have been arrogant, rude to others, and showing lack of respect. They are most, sadly, from major football playing nations, particularly Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam (alphabetical order).

The excuse they use for being rude is: "they started first, we fought back!" And that is the only excuse I have seen so far.

Educated people never act that way.

Many Vietnamese fans, because of being overconfident, said bad and abusive things to the friend nations. A lot of Malaysian, after their team winning, paid all back and even increased the elevation. The serious problem is, they insulted back the ENTIRE NATION of Vietnam and the ENTIRE VIETNAMESE PEOPLE, not the ones who they were fighting against. The ENTIRE Vietnamese team and supporters, whom you see at the stadium and in their home country, HAVE NEVER SAID RUDE THINGS OR SHOWN DISRESPECT TO OTHER NATIONS. And last but not least, our Thai friends, instead of being the mediator, now then heightened the seriousness, attacking the Vietnamese people and encouraging hatred among the Malaysians and Vietnamese.

Once again, the only excuse is "they started first." And once again, educated people never act that way.

I strongly oppose and disapprove of those actions IN THIS INTERNATIONAL FORUM. They bring shame to their countries and families.

Which part of it has irony?

In this topic, you were the first person who created that irony.

This is a very good example for what I demonstrated in my first post. My Asean friends, look at this and don't follow.

It's your choice to continue raising hatred like that. I don't mind.

Just think about how people look at the way you talk in this topic and everything will be as bright as daylight. Where are you from?

i don;t understand why you raise up the education topic, that a kind of rude way on looking down other.  You  r  not different from who you try to blame at all..

remember guy,  it's a sport, this kind of attacking each other by words after game finish is really simple and normal practice in this tiny world. Come out from you coconut shell and be more mature man.

when someone lost , it's only you can bark.?? is that you logic??????? smile

That part is really enough to prove your education level, to show who is rude and who is not. I have to thank you here because you set a very good example for my post above.

Now you said it on your own. Education, your family and country face, and even yourself, all don't matter to you. Now everyone knows what would happen if we ignore education and civilization.

But I respect you, thank for your opinions aww
I am not suprised that there are many members oppose your post, because most of forum have selfish member, they think their activities are correct, so nobody could educate themselves, and they represent to individualism. Therefore you couldn't find the support from them.

Good luck to you smile

I am not saying I have excellent attitude. But it's definitely better than calling people "loser", and "bark, coconut shell"... and all of other things about blaming the whole nation. I am trying to point out what should be done and what not.

And if you don't agree with any interpretation, just comment on it and give proof. Saying too little like that won't make people understand you.

Regards.

Thank you for your nice words, bravoVN. I am trying to show how people should behave to each other. I don't mind if some intolerant people argue with me. After all, our human race are going to the ultimate goal, the goal of being perfect, whereas everybody is kind to each other.

sincerely i think this is a very very good opinion...

i noticed the statement "they started first, we fought back!"

in my opinion if we dont want the "we fought back!" part...then we should avoid the "they started first" part in the first place...

in this context, "they started first" belongs to the particular Vietnamese forumers...i noticed this also from your opinion above..

we need more people like you,Mr. OnTheIssue, to educate that kind of people...and it would be easier because they are among your own countryman..

i will support you..=)

Thank you for your opinion, kuwe KL.

Let me make things more clear here. A lot of people I have encountered here all say "the Vietnamese fans started first." That's what they said to you. But based on my observation, THEY ALL started first, not just the Vietnamese. There were Thai, Malaysian, and other nations along with the Vietnamese when the late matches were taking place. They were all rude to each other.

I am not protecting the rude people, even Vietnamese. I am pointing out what educated is supposed to be.

Regards.

This is a good signal. That proves human still knows to correct. Let the Asean spirit flow!

You should take you time to study in the university more than play the internet.

You really don't know why I put emphasis on education, being kind and civilized?

Just to remind you, Internet is not for only "playing" like you said. I think in this forum, what we are doing is "discussion", not "playing." And when we are discussing, we have to respect others. Do you understand it now?

CHAN,
My words are for waking people being in darkness. I know it may be hard to swallow. But things in life are just the same. Difficulty makes us strong and more mature. My words are aiming to correct negative things that have been happening all over this forum.

Remember your childhood. Your parents probably criticized and scolded you in some extent. But now I suppose you understand and even more value those advices from your parents. Once again, true beauty will be revealed when time is met.

If you don't agree with anything I wrote, you can share it right here. We will be glad to discuss it with you.

Regards.

Thank brad, for showing people what nature they are. Though, they know that, I know that and even you, I bet you know that as well.

Educate, educate, educate.

Do you really understand what educate means?

I'm not much sure either, but I'm sure that educate doesn't mean to pretend or to show off that you are educated yourself.

I agree from the bottom of my heart with compromising, but you, I don't agree with you. You like the cop robbing the bank. You know, you use a high level of words to make rude people even you tried hard to educate them.

Your phrase above is nearly perfect. Pity your some, I mean a lot of, words show how deeply badly you think about other people. You blamed that other insulted the entire nation of VN, that's ok, that's true, I agree. But you didn't blame yourself that you insulted other specifically ;eg. Thai friends, Malaysian fans, and you said like only your country, VN, doesn't insulted other entirely. You demanded other to respect you, your mother land, but you didn't pay much respect to other yourself.

As people can see some of your replies that trying to know what country they are from and pity other motherland that those are belonging to.

The last thing is that please realize I'm not 1) insulting entire VN, I know the variation sometimes not depends on ethnic, 2)fighting back, not necessary to fight someone back because of he blame our nation, I'm not a nationalist and 3)making rude on you absurdly as I show those points.

I won't wish you can agree your fault or realize that, even you are educated. But I wish for either fighting back or discussing like civilian does.

I will say goodbye to u all see u next seagames....

p.s. i hope someone will give the last more beatiful word than this guy.. bye...

You are wrong, detom.

And once again, we can see you are trying to lie. In this topic, I don't see any "Viet who never accepts any of their own loss." Are you referring that I am that "Viet", detom?

I have never touched to the issue of losing or winning here. I think you did not read other people's posts carefully. It's a pity that there is still one person who is not mature enough.

Let me quote back what the person behind the nickname detom has said to people:

detom wrote:

i don;t understand why you raise up the education topic, that a kind of rude way on looking down other.

Now do you think that is mature? Or hatred?

Regards.

Haha, my dear Thai friend. You're my bro of ethnic, anyway, that's the another story. You're not better than him, actually, worse. I know you're nationalist after this comment you may ask me "คนไทยรึเปล่าวะ มาด่ากันเอง", that's not a good reason to make bad thing on other people who is not your own group with out complaining from your same group/nation. Please, know that it's only about individual not nation.

SuSu,
Yes, I do. I know what education is supposed to be. And I agree that education doesn't mean pretending and showing off. But, are you trying to say I am the one who is showing off that I am educated? If so, you are wrong. I am promoting education. I don't need to prove that I am educated. If you insist, find a part that shows I am showing off that I am educated. If you can't, you are telling a lie.

I am glad you agreed that many people wrongly insulted the entire Vietnam and Vietnamese people, which proves my points right. And I do not make rude people like you said. I want to stop them from being rude.

And, don't get me wrong, SuSu. I strongly oppose and disapprove of any kinds of wrong insults, being rude, uneducated, and uncivilized. I promote respect among nations. Are you saying the fact that I point out their errors is disrespectful? It is true that they bring shame to their countries as they represent their motherland here. Don't you disagree with that?

Once again, pay attention to the way I write. I criticize individuals here. I don't criticize their entire nations. I know all countries in Southeast Asia are good and their people are nice. But most of the fans I have encountered here are not. Do you understand my points now?

My criticisms are not for offending. They are for better education and environment. And don't worry. I am not "fighting back" like you said. I am promoting civilization.

Regards.

I might be missing the point. Yes, I insisted you that you showed off you're educated. May be, you made me think like that. Basically, there are two ways to do when people want to show other that they at high level; tell them directly you are high or either tell other that they are low. If my logic is poor, I agree your said, I did lie.

I'm too busy to check what you have ever said on this board, though, I catch some points that ensured me enough to get you wrong about disrespectful of other country. The first thing is that you insisted other country, I mean Malaysian and Thai, very fine.

You say "The serious problem is, they insulted back the ENTIRE NATION of Vietnam and the ENTIRE VIETNAMESE PEOPLE". So you mean only VM who has never insulted back entire nation of other country, or is it not serious?

The second thing is that you asked someone who making rude his mother land. It obviously shows your intention. You want to defame his mother land as bad as he is.

Well, if you didn't mean like what you meant, I really apologize you for my mistaking.

Thank khub for a precious suggestion, THAI-WIB. However, I argued him without cortisol in my blood. Talking like this may improve my logic, EQ, english, education or something I required. Let me do, let him do and let's see what'd be going on.

SuSu,
First of all, I accept your apology. Your guesses were all wrong.

Yes, your logic was poor. Don't judge people without enough thinking. And you made yourself think like that. I cannot control your mind. You are the one who thinks on your own.

You don't need to check what I have said on this forum. I keep my way of writing the same as always. And, rest assure, I have never blamed countries like you said on your first post. If you insist, feel free to check. (Let me show to the fast way to scan my post throughout this forum: Click on my nickname OnTheIssue, then choose "Member Posts". That way you can see all the topics I have discussed.)

From the way you talked, I suppose you are thinking that I am protecting the rude Vietnamese. Are you? No. I strongly disapprove of their actions, too. If you look carefully, you will see I have already said that, just in this topic.

Last, your interpretation "I want to defame their motherland as bad as they are" is wrong. Please read my last post one more time. I have never insulted a whole country like that, the attitude I strongly oppose. I said: they bring shame to their countries. Once again, minority cannot completely represent their nations. And, we should be civilized, when it comes to discussion and judgment.

Regards.
