His tactic was indeed spot on this tournament. Kudos for the FAM, for once they did something right i guess.. Developing the U23 team is a wise thing for Malaysia as their senior squad has been a disappointment for years. I can forsee this U23 team being the platform for ur national team in future.

well, I totally agree with u that Malaysia soccer player played so well. They had a great match. I know that, it's truth and nobody can change it. And this's my opinion abt the biggest fault of Vietnam team. U see, we have 5 score in 2 matches between Malaysia and Vietnam, right? and both of them 're scored by Vietnamese player.
It's normal. And Malaysia played well, too. They controlled the midfield in 2nd half. I probably can't avoid it. Today, they play better than Vietnam team.

I think Malaysia skills isn't bad at all definitely in this region. The key reason is improved tactical discipline and a very thorough preparation prior to the games. Rajagopal definitely deserve praise for the way he make his players execute his plan to perfection and i cant stress enough the importance of preparation. Just look at Thailand, they paid for their poor preparation prior to the game and the result shows. I hope FAT can wake up their idea :(
