K.Rajagopal love to approach youngster rather than take our current senior players. He introduce youngster from unknown place(means we do not know them before) and bring up them into Harimau Muda squad(Youth team) before he become our Senior footballer coach. For me K.Rajagopal ability to find new talents player just like Arsene Wenger.

Yes, I agree. Rajagopal is good in identifying new talents and developed their skills to be a good player. That's what he has done to Selangor and Kelantan. Now he's doing it for Malaysian team.

BUT, actually he was not the person who supposed to coach Malaysia NT or even U23 (after FAM sacked the previous coach B Sathianathan due to poor performance)!

he's just the U20 @ Harimau Muda (Young Tiger) before got promoted to this post today.

he was like the 4th choice after Azraai Khor, K Devan, and Dollah Salleh (candidates for take over Malaysia's squad).

Due to the contract of all the candidates with their clubs that can not be breach (and no other options), FAM decided to chose this man K Rajagobal @ King-Gobal to take over the U23 squad to face this SEA Games and the NT as well.

and, apparently their choice was absolutely correct!

since K Rajagobal take over the office, Malaysia performance (NT/U23) has increase day by day..

K Rajagobal likes to use young player and he is a very good strategist.

the team who won the gold medal had play together under him since 2004!

it's a long time isn't it?

and basically, this U23 squad also Malaysia NT as well, except Rajagobal will add a few senior players like Amri Yahyah, Indra Putra, Hafiz Zamani (the captain), and V Thirumurugan
