I believe that Malay team will be very much different from the very first match with Vietnam. It's not easy at all for the next match. Don't think that they just stick to "counter attack" if you look at the way they performed in Thai-Malay match. Historical data is purely used for analysis.

I do believe that the pressure is not lower for Malay players. After the success in the match Thai-Malay, every single player in Malay team understands how much their fans expect from them. In addition, winning in the final will mitigate the sentence hanging from the previous Viet-Malay match.

Hope is normal....If Timor Leste in final they also will hope to win. But when we talk about pressure, it more to Vietnam since their supporter hope more than us. but if vietnam stabil and play normal as ususal.and malay nervous cos play in final match 3-1 for vietnam...so point is the best team with a bit lucky will win this match,,,,and dont porget,,,its gonna be hot match he he according what happened before. soo chheerrrsss both side, do your best to be a champion.

Im a Vietnamese fan and I don't think I'm arrogant so far. The reasons for me hanging around here are (i) I'm on vacation so I have time to write and (ii) some of Malay fans are very "arrogant". If you look around, you would see yourself how rude and arrogant your fans are when you guys blame on the referee, blame on the players.

I'm not quite sure how you are familiarized with Brazilian or Italian fans and then you make some comparison. I'm not quite sure if you really spent time reading through all quotes made by Viet fans and Malay fans. I'm also not quite sure how you come to such a judgement. BUT I'm sure the very bad behavior of Malay players toward the referee will be seriously penalized and "HATED"-the word you used.

Agreed. But I think as fans, we would rather burned ourselfves for the team we love.It's so funny to think that we can not show our passionate coz we're afraid of defeating. Huliminatin opponents is not good for sure but you want to be judged as an arrogant guy then ur team win, or to be a gentle man and lose the game ? The choice is yours.

As from the 1st semi final, number 15 of Singapore was injured ( leg broke ) after an agressive tackle from vietnam defender. That was clearly a foul, hard one. But I think if I were the vietnam defender, I would did the same.There was no other choice since it was close to the goal, he might be judged for the foul, but for the team, he had to do it.

We should not reject the chance to win just by afraid of what happens if we lose.

Well, I did not compare HOPE among fans. If I agree with you that Malay supporters have less hope than Viet supporters, as you quoted above, then there will be some guys jumping in shouting that i'm arrogant. biggrin

However, there is one thing that I have to agree with you. Malay fans seem to be so quiet. Viet fan celebrate on the street for any single victory of the home team but Malay fan did not. Viet fan fully crowd the stadium but Malay fan did not.

Agreed. But I think as fans, we would rather burned ourselfves for the team we love.It's so funny to think that we can not show our passionate coz we're afraid of defeating. Huliminatin opponents is not good for sure but you want to be judged as an arrogant guy then ur team win, or to be a gentle man and lose the game ? The choice is yours.

As from the 1st semi final, number 15 of Singapore was injured ( leg broke ) after an agressive tackle from vietnam defender. That was clearly a foul, hard one. But I think if I were the vietnam defender, I would did the same.There was no other choice since it was close to the goal, he might be judged for the foul, but for the team, he had to do it.

We should not reject the chance to win just by afraid of what happens if we lose.

ya know, most of vietnamese are not good in english, or they're just so willin of what they think, that could lead to misunderstandin' at first. Maybe they didn't want to say it.

In general, that's a part of sports, of the fans so we should accept it. Be calm. There are always different kinds of ppl, we don't live long enough to care about them all.Just focus on what we discuss.

Yeah, agree with you. Malay team has done an "mission impossible" by beating Thai team to the ground. In our public domains, there are a lot discussions about this shocking event and we do respect the effort that Malay made.

Hey guys, every one will support their national team. How ever, we should not say something bad about others. According to me, Malaysian players have a strong physic however, Vietnamese players are more tactical and technique. No one can make sure anything in FOOTBALL, that's why we are fans of FOOTBALL. The final result can be change by a single situation during the match, so Vietnamese fans can say they will win and Malaysian too until the final whistle.
I don't think the Korean referee who control the last match between VN and Mal is bought by VNese side. He was right in almost case during the match even for the red card of Malaysian player. That's why the coach of Malaysian also didnot complain any thing of that match on referee. He said: "we played not good this match, however, the referee was too hard for red card, VN deserved the win". Yesterday, Singaporean Coach also said the same thing with the same referee.
However, past is past. We shouldnot look into the past and make sure for future. Everything can change. Except our love with FOOTBALL.

Man...it too far. Since Vietnam quit close to Vietnam, I think 99% of the stadium will be in red. Only atletes who involves in the games will support Malaysia in stadium. 300 people maybe..huhu

A lot of firms from Vietnam did book a significant amount of final tickets even before SEAgame start. They have strong belief that our team will come that far.

What's wrong with you? what do you think if others say that to you and your people? it's football, not war, my friend. You can't hate the other country or the whole ethnic just because your team lost 0-1 ? it makes me feel bad about Malaysian, but i realized this is just one guy, individual, a stupid guy, we're friends, ASEAN countries, no matter the out come from the final match, we must not offense others , please act responsilble for both teams' fans.

I think you aim to me. Maybe I'm a bad guy from Malaysia but remember a bad guys from Vietnam start to provoke us first. If you think you are a good guy from whatever country, you can accept a bad guy appology right. Quit lots of time I'm say SORRY. I hope the case already close.
