Sigh!..Singapore got host Asian Youth games and Youth Olympic. I would be happier if they host 2011 Sea games. Wait for us, We will host the SEA games in 2015.

all west nation?i don't think west country have a vote power for Asian game?correct me if i'm wrong..actually i don't feel Dubai is most tough competitor..unless this vote is influence by political games more than the credibility of one country to conduct this event

I dont think The Philippines submitted a bid for the Asiad 2019.

From SE Asia, there were already three countries which hosted the Asian Games, Philippines (the first SEA country to host in 1954), Thailand (1966, 1970. 1998) and Indonesia (1962).

Bangkok had gone into the final round for Youth Olympic game bids 2008, but she might bid for Summer Olympic 2024 or 2028. By the way, I believe that Bangkok will hold the game before 2030 definitely.

if a nation wants to jump start its economy, then hosting an international sport event is one way to do it...., other than that, it is a losing business adventure (that includes the World Cup).

If Malaysia want to hold Olympic Games, yes- we vote for them.

If Indonesia want to hold World cup, definitely we vote!

Vietnam is possible to conduct Olympic.Look, we did conduct AIG3 very succesfully. Olypics is more bigger than that but the form is quite same, why not Vietnam make it double?

Vietnam is not ready yet to host Asian Games or even bigger event like Olympic. I think Vietnam fully prepare to host big event like Asian games we have to wait atleast 10 more years..Olympic 30-40 more years :)
