I think that is a wrong thing to think that just because one is a World Gold Medalist, one can win all the time in all competitions. In Athens, Olympics, our archer, has beaten the world number 1.
All athletes have to lose at one point. The Vietnamese girl had her taste of losing in the Lao SEA Games. When lower seeded Cecil Mamiit defeated a high-ranking seeded Thai Tennis player, does it mean that it was because of bad refereeing? Or the winner cheated? Of course not. The Filipino tennis player won the game fair and square even when the Thai DPM was watching the game live.
