Actually for me i dont take it really serious, and im not judging these kind of issues with the nationality as thier are also are not proven to be thai, viet, lao, malay, indo or whatever. So nothing to be sorry for... chill mate
There are a few bad apples in any community...No need to apologize, i dont feel like i'm offended when a fan shows support for his country. We're Aseans are good friends and we should treat each other with respect.
^^ Agree with the comment above me, we got heaps of people like that in the Philippine forums too. So yeah there will always be some stupid trolls anywhere. I wonder though where the moderator for this forum is..

Yeah I agree, and it dint help that your former Prime Minister made some very undiplomatic, unfair and very untrue remarks towards the host country. Having worked with the Royal Thai Embassy and many embassies around the world during the 2005 SEA Games, it was very upsetting for us. And I pity the Royal Thai Embassy here in Manila because they were sooo embarrassed. My friends in the Cambodian, Singaporean and Indonesian embassies were just scratching their heads.
It was for that reason that Thai Deputy Prime Minister Suwat Liptapanlop came over to the Philippines to say sorry and mend fences. Thai DPM Liptapanlop is a very nice guy and I had the chance to meet him personally during the 2005 Games as I am one of the few who picked him up from the airport when he arrived. Very down to earth guy. :)
Yeh !!! I would like to apologize for Narong's word too but I think he did nothing wrong .....this webbord is to share opinion isn't it.... Maybe he just want to see other Asean countries to improve thier football team, thier football standard and thier football spirit for our ASEAN by set thai team as a high level. ....and the truth is that....LAO 0-0 Singapore.... why ????? Because if they both draw, they would get into the semi-final together....and now they are draw !!!!!....Where is thier football spirit ???? What about Myanmar 3-1 Indonesia....nothing happen to this match actually... .....This is what I call understandard....Myanmar shoud go to semi-final instead... There is no need for an apology. It is extremely difficult to control other individual's behavior. One bad apple does not apply to the whole tree. Yes, certain statements are offensive. We, ourselves, have to learn to disregard them. Anyhow, I appreciate your kind thought in looking out for those who act inappropriately.
