To all buddies,

First, it's good to have a clear distinction between the phenomenon and the nature. Sometimes people do it without really meaning it, so don't "label" them with the phenomenon!

A victory in a match does not make us great, and a failure in a match does not make us humble. Keep a cold mind and a positive thinking, that's the most important thing you should bring with you on the way to success. In addition, don't be overoptimistic and fool yourself by the illusion of anything. Be real, be positive!

Don't let discrimination spoil the harmony among us. No people or nation is better by nature.

Then, be polite, and be modest!

VN Baamboo.

Malay played a rude game. … in aspect attitude - negative, they made strong pressures on and threats against referee almost the time.

(Years ago Vietnam seemed the same when we were still weak)

Malay’s worry with penalty – it showed surely that they were not confident when face to face with VN.

I think if VN penalty with Thai is a matter, with Malay is no meaning. Coz sooner or later VN score n win.

One unsatisfied thing is TV, it was not zoom in for more clear n not other view-side to compare. How many VTV channels and reporters where they all gone?

I think the picture of the vietnamese fans holding up that big banner " Thai Lan oi, xu*a ro^i " it is a kind of provocative. It means, Thailand, YOur days are over. I think in this case, the viet fans are too much. I am a vietnamese myself so dont think i am bias. Ok in sport, you just think you will play your best. So if you win its good. if you lose, try harder nex time. So you only cheer for your team and support your team to play their best. But you dont provoke unsportmanship doing banner like that. dont direct your pride at any particular opponent. Even if vietnam win gold in soccer this time, they still have to respect for everyone. Winning is not everything. Well my litle 2 cents here. No offense. Just try to speak my mind.

own goal by vietnam is not compensating the penalti kick given by bribed referee in early minutes of the game..what will compensate 2 yellow cards, just because asking why the referee's giving the penalti kick? what will compensate the player's morale deterioration due to the bias decisions made by referee? we shouldn't get the referee from other countries which are not involved in this games (sea games)..i believe, there was something behind all his (referee) decisions..anyway, we'll see what will happens for the match mas vs thai..that wasn't malaysian normal game yesterday..this is not the same team as we had for the past few years..we are hurt..bear in mind what's usually happened when injured tiger reacts..

Hi malaysia fan,
I understand what u r thinking...
And I know that in your country, football is not number 1. Yesterday, after checked 40 channels in hotel, there was no one live of this match... I went out, asked some guys in cafe shops, they even did not know their national team was playing, you know I am really surprised that your Maly TV did not broadcast this match...doh backed room and used very low speed Internet...
There is a big difference between Vietnamese FANs and M'ly fans... this is our patriotism and the pride of Vietnam!

hi asean,

the reason why we have no live broadcast in the country is because we didn't buy the broadcasting license which never ever in sea games history, participant countries need to pay to the hosting country to get the games broadcasted..this is the 1st time in history, a hosting country is asking money for this..have u checked in singapore channels do they have the live broadcast too? they did not..not because they don't have money, but it's a kind of protest..brunei too..you are wrong if you said football is not #1 sport in malaysia..please tell me what is #1 sport in malaysia if you think so..

I have lived in Maly more than 1 year... I understand what Malaysian think and feel about their national football now...
And had a chance to see Malaysia vs. MU at Bukit Jalil this year, almost viewers did not have any support to their national team no their attitude was so bad.
Sorry, I just talk what I think...ashamed

Hi Asean and Bibi,
U do not need to say sorry, what about the banner is a normal thing, not so serious and arrogant at all. You can see some malaysian  fan here saying "bribed ref".

What a shame! Do VN players need to buy ref ? Do you malaysian watch the replay for that penalty? No 13. used the hand actively to prevent the ball, and he's booked for this. No 8 had some intendly violent actions and he deserved to be out. So dont puss your loser into some kinds of this. You LOSERS! Our Thai will give your flight ticket to come back at the last round!

@malaysia fan: Malaysia is sure to have the flight ticket to back home after the match with Thai. When they cannot beat such teams like Vietnam, Sing, Indo; then never dream about beating Thai ==> what a fairy tale!no
@Banana: Dont predict anything too soon, just pass the semi- final first blankstare

@Neo: we have right to predict man! If we don't predict, nothing to say anymore :)

@BNN: Thailand will stand under champion stage. Vietnam stand on champion stage :)

@Malaysian fan: No chance to defeat Thailand. You can hope la. :)

@Emerald214: I mean "not predict any thing too soon". Its the final while the semi final does not come yet, there's also 2 rounds left.  Thais is sure to overcome the round table but the semi is.... Think about it before be sure that Thai can stand at the chamlion stageaww
Nothing impossible.

Thanks for helping me response... good defending so far... wink
I think firstly Football Association of Malaysia- FAM should book AirAsia tickets (not MAS or Singapore-air any moredoh) for their own players lah... And the second is to select some Chinese or Indian malaysian into the team, their team will get more energy and support from Satu Malaysia...smile Boleh lah!

You are so wrong lah mate.. most football supporters at Bukit Jalil wear those MU kit and jersey but that did not mean we were not supporting our team. We support both side, indeed the supporters were more eagerly shouted to cheer the msian if they were in the attacking side.

agreed that the malaysian players should behave and maintain their professionalism though there are some questioable decision made by the ref.. we malaysian share the dissapointment since this team shows alot of potential since been together.....i admit that VN and Thai is a good team but we wont surrender until the final whistle..its not impossible if we can send Steve Darby back to Bangkok..
