Hi there,

Firstly on behaft of vietnam thank you for your interested in our culture.
But, look at your title "Dear Veit freind ", one only few word but you made 2/3 mistake, may i correct you?
second thing: You said so many Viet people here, it is juz correct in a haft. I must add : Viet people and people from other countries who love vietnam are many here.

The last:Yes we love to eat dog same as Korean do because it is a very heathly food though.
We make it in 7 dishes ( Nam nueng-correct one is Nam Nuong is not from dog meat but from goat or cow lol)

you should back to hanoi again, good luck

Hi my friend : Yes we eat dogs meat esp in North Vietnam, and we have around 7 dished from dogs meat. you should not see any dog meat menu in Hotel or some business center, you should go to specila dog meat shop like : Nhat Tan in Hanoi. I am fraid that the infos some guys catch the dogs in Thailand and export to Vietnam is true. In fact the people from Korea eat dog meat alot more than Vietnam!

As myself I used to ate 1 time but it was tasted like pork meat. especially the drunker really like dog meat.....Anyways meat dog didn't serve on the menu of the restaurants because a lots Vietnamese are scared of dog meat n don't want to eat it..

I used to test one time when I was on Campus many yrs ago. I think its taste isn't delicious and smell also is too strong.

I like to eat "Pla La or Pla dak" more.

hehehe

like this, dogs meat is suitable for cold place only. once you got it, your stomach is getting hot same like you drink alcohol. we eat dogs meat together with alcohol drinking. Southern of vietnam few people can eat because the weather is hot in year round. Look, korea is cold then they eat same like us.
so it better if you go to hanoi to enjoy your dogs meat na

It's 21st century and there still are ppl who care about what others eat

It's the most stupid thing man can think about.

Do you have any subject that proved eating dogs will make ur brain stop workin, or get HIV ? Do you think a man who eats dogs is stupid than you ? More poor than you ?

Don't you know that Muslim think pork are dirty, so if you eat pork, they'll think you are dirty ??

Just like India pick foods by their hands, but in Europe they think it's dirty.

It's just tradition, just culture man. Most of the Western cant stand durian. But they don't say durian is dirty.

Why don't ur brain work a little, just a little more ?

personally, I don't eat dogs, but, you can not judge a man just by what he eat, at least learn how to respect other traditions, habits before sayin anythings.

P/S : There are worms in some western cheese, and they're special dishes, don't you know ?

Blame the Thai guys who catch the dogs illegally and sell it to Vietnam to get money.

Who can ask you stop to eat Thai traditional food? How funny you are guy!

Terati my friend, Nem Nuong is very tasty. Although its true in some part of vietnam people eat dogs. To me, that is discussting. I can not even imagine i can eat dogs. However, thats just cultural differences. I totally respect of other people doing that, but i personally have a problem eating dogs. Its true that dogs cats cows or pigs are animal, but for thousands of years of domestication, dogs have evolved to become more of merely a food source like cows or pigs. We have dogs as pets. As little kids we play with them. As adult, dogs have gone in our life as friends and companionship. Because of that emotional attachment, we need to consider this aspect of life. Thats why i can't eat dogs. This is something i am not proud of vietnamese.

How was it possible, I asked ugg bailey boots, to walk for an hour through the woods and see nothing worthy of note? I who cannot see find hundreds of things to interest me through mere touch. I feel the delicate symmetry of a leaf. I pass my UGG bailey button 5803 boots lovingly about the smooth skin of a silver birch, or the rough shaggy bark of a pine. In spring I touch the branches of trees hopefully in search of a bud, the first sign of bailey button UGG awakening Nature after her winter's sleep. I feel the delightful, velvety texture of a flower, and discover its remarkable convolutions; and something of the miracle of Nature is revealed to ugg classic cardy. Occasionally, if I am very fortunate, I place my hand gently in a small tree and feel the happy quiver of a bird in full song. I am delighted to have the cool waters of a brook rush classic cardy UGG Boots through my open fingers. To me a lush carpet of pine needles or spongy grass is more welcome than the most luxurious Persian rug. To me the pageant of seasons is a thrilling and unending UGG classic cardy Boots, the action of which streams through my finger tips. At times my heart cries out with longing to see all these things. If I can get so much pleasure from mere touch Cheap UGG cardy Boots, how much more beauty must be revealed by sight. Yet, those who have eyes apparently see little. The panorama of color and action fill the world is taken for granted. It is human, ugg classic tall, to appreciate little that which we have and to long for that which we have not, but it is a great pity that in the world of light and the gift of sight is used only as a mere convenience UGG classic tall Boots rather than as a means of adding fullness to life. The husband agreed. So each of them went to a separate room in the house and thought of the things that annoyed ugg 5815 boots about the other. They thought about this question for the rest of the day and wrote down what they came up with. In life, there are enough times when we are ugg classic short, depressed and annoyed. CF
