Oh yeah, the problem with the Pacific countries however, most of them probably cannot afford to attend our games. I mean right now, Lao PDR was helped alot financially by Thailand, Vietnam and other countries. Same goes with Timor Leste... We shouldered the expenses for the participation of Timor Leste last 2005 here in the Philippines.
Anyway, speaking of SEA Games, I have the Olympic pins of the different countries in South East Asia! Even Timor Leste! :) I dont think I have the one for Lao though...

In fact Aus and NZ are far advanced from our SEA general level. We may wish to organise smt smaller than SEA Games first for us to practice and get familarise. If not, most of golds will be won by Aus and NZ and the rest becomes so disappointed.

For sure such a match would be very interesting. However, let stand in shoes of some countries which could not be able to compete and imagine how they feel ? That's why I come to the suggestion that we may need to have a different game event.
