Of course they do, but too late. It's problem of stamina, concentration and errr complacency...

You know because of that, FAT should fire Steve Darby and hire someone can bring out the best of thai people strength. In south east asia, size wise, thai players are only alittle taller than vietnamese, but most of you guys are shorter than singaporeans and malaysians. When size is not an advantage, you should not play english football. Now the gap in physical strength and stamina is small now, thailand need to improve even more. Teams from seagames 24th are not the same anymore. If you notice vietnamese players stamina improved alot. So do Laotians. Malaysians and Singaporeans are still strong.
In order to have an advantage edge, you need to maximize your strength.
So i think thailand should stay with short passes, attack in midfield more.
I think kiatisuk would be a good coach for thailand in the future. I think he plays in vietnam for a while and he understand south east asian football, and he is also thai, he would do that job the best.

AGREE with you...

Asean football team must play Latin style not English style.

Actually, it depends on the philosophy of the coach, and maybe of the managers in the football association.

Look at Singapore, they have been loyal to the English styled football "kick and run" and heading for quite long, I think at least from 1998 up till now. They even had 3 championships in AFF cup, so who can claim that it is not suitable for them to play that style ?

But generally, I think the Latin style looks more beautiful than the kick and run, with short fast and unpredictable passes, leading to eye-satisfying goals.

Whatever style it might be, goal is the ultimate purpose.

When you can ensure goals, then you can care about beauty.

Their tactic seem fine to me, very old style but still ok.
The only thing that made Thai lost to Malaysia was the lack of heart.
I can't start to explain how angry I am when I thought about the match.
Thai players play with no heart at all( except for Anawin).
Didn't they know they had the national flag stick in to their very chest.
Man!! I'm quite angry.
